By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Our Services
Pacaso provides payment processing infrastructure, software solutions, and access to banking and acquiring partners to help businesses accept and manage payments globally.
Our services may include:
- Payment gateway and transaction processing
- Access to multiple payment methods
- Fraud monitoring and risk tools
- Reporting and transaction management
- Technical and onboarding support
Pacaso works with licensed financial institutions and partners. These partners are responsible for actual payment processing and fund handling.
2. Eligibility
To use our services:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must operate a legally registered business (if applicable)
- You must provide accurate and complete information
Pacaso reserves the right to approve or reject any application based on risk, compliance, or regulatory requirements.
3. Account Usage
- Each business is allowed one primary account unless approved otherwise
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must ensure all information provided is accurate and up to date
Any misuse or violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.
4. Payments & Processing
Pacaso facilitates payment processing through its banking and acquiring partners.
- Payments are processed on your behalf through authorized partners
- Funds may be held, delayed, or reserved based on risk assessment
- Settlement timelines depend on your business type and risk category
You agree not to misuse the system for fraudulent or unauthorized transactions.
5. Chargebacks & Risk Monitoring
Merchants are responsible for managing chargebacks and disputes.
- Excessive chargebacks may lead to penalties or account suspension
- Pacaso may implement rolling reserves or holds to mitigate risk
- Chargeback-related fees may apply
We provide tools and support to help reduce disputes, but ultimate responsibility lies with the merchant.
6. Prohibited Activities
You may NOT use Pacaso for:
- Illegal products or services
- Fraudulent or misleading transactions
- Activities involving prohibited or regulated industries without approval
- Violation of intellectual property or third-party rights
Pacaso reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in restricted activities.
7. Compliance & Verification
To maintain security and compliance:
- You may be required to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification
- Additional documents may be requested at any time
- Transactions may be monitored for fraud, AML, and compliance purposes
Failure to comply may result in account restrictions.
8. Fees & Pricing
- Pricing varies based on business type, volume, and risk level
- All fees will be disclosed before activation
- Additional fees may apply for chargebacks, disputes, or special services
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and technology used by Pacaso remain our intellectual property.
You may not copy, modify, or use our materials without written permission.
10. Service Availability
While we strive for uninterrupted service:
- We do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation
- Downtime may occur due to maintenance or external factors
Pacaso is not liable for losses caused by system interruptions beyond our control.
11. Limitation of Liability
Pacaso is not responsible for:
- Actions of third-party banking or payment partners
- Business losses, revenue loss, or indirect damages
- Issues arising from misuse of the platform
Use of our services is at your own risk.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these terms
- You engage in prohibited activities
- Your risk profile changes significantly
You may also close your account at any time by contacting support. Remaining balances will be settled according to applicable terms.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
14. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes:
- We encourage resolving issues through our support team first
- Alternative dispute resolution may be used before legal action
- Legal jurisdiction will depend on your registered business agreement
